Alas, the Norwegian Maple is no more. The backyard sans tree looks HUGE!!! And bonus, our back neighbors took down some of the pine tree branches that were covering the fence intersection, so the back yard got a bit brighter. Our next door neighbors went from having a shade garden to a sun garden, too -- good thing we're putting in a new tree, but they seem excited for the sun!
