Alrighty, one of my resolutions this year is to cook something new from one of our cookbooks each week. It doesn't need to be fancy, just something new. This was the first week's work - bread from Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day, which is an evil, but oh-so-good cookbook. I used to think bread was too hard to make - this book makes it SO easy. Thanks to Chrissie for turning me on to this book. From what we've saved just in the past few weeks by not buying the take-and-break bread from New Season's has made the book already pay for itself---with an incredibly yummy bonus!
